With a mission to transform the perception of their association, to drive greater engagement and build influence, we worked with QMCA to develop a communications strategy, brand strategy and ongoing media strategy.

QMCA is the peak industry body for the contracting sector in Queensland. Representing the interests of their members, they advocate for positive change in their sector and for investment into major infrastructure projects.

what did we do

QMCA are in the process of undergoing significant change as the board of directors and new CEO seek to re-energize their direction and reposition their brand.

Part of this process places a greater emphasis on communications and identifying opportunities to grow their voice in order to influence, advocate for change and drive increased awareness of and engagement with their industry and membership.

We worked with them to define and execute this strategy.

Like many associations QMCA needed to reinvent their activities, position and brand to ensure relevance in the market.

To do so we worked with the CEO, President and Board to develop a communications strategy aimed at building their profile and influence.

We then executed that strategy, proactively managing all inbound and outbound media as well as managing their social channels. In addition, working with our partners Thought and Process, we redesigned their brand identity, position and assets.

Communications Strategy

We developed a clear communications strategy for QMCA focused on telling the story of their association and its members in a positive way, that acts as a platform for activating change in their industry and wider sector.

Brand Strategy

In order to appeal to a wider demographic and to support their future direction we developed a new brand position and worked with a creative agency to develop a stunning new visual identity.

Media Management

We manage all inbound and outbound media ensuring that the messages we wish to communicate are done so effectively and in the right way.

Content Development and Management

Provide ongoing content development, support and management of social media assets.
